ASU political science senior instructor Gustavo Campos will host his 20th annual birthday bash benefit concert on Sep. 3. This performance from The Manny Campos Band will be broadcasted from The House of Fifi Dubois from 8-11pm with all proceeds benefiting ASU’s baseball program.

Manny Campos Birthday Bash is back. If you haven’t heard of this amazing event, it is a concert performed by one of the senior instructors on campus. Manny Campos has been at Angelo State for 20 years, nine of which he’s been an instructor, as well as, faculty athletic associate for the baseball team. During his duration as an instructor he has performed at Ram Jams, Rambunctious week, and many other ASU occasions.

This is a very special year for this event, this marks the twentieth anniversary. Since Mr. Campos has started this Bash he has raised money for local non-profits, ram rugby, the ramfam scholarship as well as the baseball team. He decided to start raising funds for the baseball program due to a player suffering a severe injury. Since then money has gone towards helping with the program's needs and equipment.

Seeing as this is the twentieth anniversary Manny Campos is pulling out all the stops. With a 15 dollar entry fee you will not only get an outstanding performance from the Manny Campos Band but also Noah Babb, Skeet Wilbanks as well as Kyler Dean. There will also be light hors d'oeuvres, BBQ, and birthday cake.
