The ASU Chorale performed its last concert of the spring, titled "Circle of Life", on May 2nd at 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church on 32 N. Irving St. This event displayed the University Chorale, the Chamber of Singers, the Glee Club and also featured selected soloists. 

With the help of conductor Dr. Eric Posada and pianist Hunter Mabery, patrons enjoyed a variety of musical genres, from traditional choral pieces to mainstream favorites. 

Kiara Washington performed a rendition of Adele's "Turning Tables" to open the concert.

Then the Chamber Singers sang a classic choral piece entitled "I'm Gonna Sing 'Til The Spirit Moves in My Heart," with soloist Gabriel Munoz, "Come to Me, My Love" and lastly featured Michael Breaux, Tennley Wilson and Munoz in a rendition of Michael Jackson's memorable "Man in the Mirror.”

Christina Parra performed a rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing.” 

Next the Glee Club took the stage to perform the traditional piece "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho.” Then performed "Tell My Father" from “The Civil War: An American Musical" with soloist Zach Douglas. Disney classic "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from “Mulan” featured soloists Joseph Cortese, Zach Martinez, Tristan Reese, Munoz and Douglas.

The Combined Tenor-Bass Chorus took the stage to perform an arrangement of "River in Judea.”

Breaux and Dirk Ross came together as a duet to sing "Agony" from the acclaimed musical “Into the Woods.”

Soloist Andrea Thompson then performed a selection from the musical “She Loves Me,” titled "Vanilla Ice Cream.”

Arrangements of "Kumbaya" and "Sing Gently" were performed the University Chorale. Then, "You Say" featuring soloists Breasia Bell and Kaitlyn Scholl.

The next performance was a rendition of "Can I Have This Dance?" from “High School Musical 3,” sung by Lanz Calma and Scholl.

The final song of the evening was the "Circle of Life" from “The Lion King,” featuring solos by Ross, Washington and Wilson.

The annual concert is recognized for its lively undertones that combines classic songs with modern hits and delivers an unforgettable experience for those who attend.
